Abstract : In order to correctly predict the missile flight dynamics and the impact point of missile, the�accuracy of aerodynamic coefficient prediction is key. Traditionally, those coefficients were�predicted using semi-empirical and Experimental Fluid Dynamics (EFD). However, the former�cannot offer sufficient fidelity predict and the latter is increasingly expensive.�Therefore, Defense Technology Institute (DTI) is initiating application and integration of�the alternative approach, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), in the Trajectory Prediction.
