Roles and responsibilities:

DSWP is to 1) promote and support training, research, education, and teaching to develop personnel outside the Institute in defense technology and industry to increase the number of defense technology and industry personnel in the country; 2) to provide scholarships to support studies, research, and development in sciences, defense technology and industry; and 3) to

establish networks and collaborate with government agencies, educational institutions, and the private sectors, both domestically and internationally, to develop personnel in and for defense technology and industry.
